He is an active member and national coordinator of the Indonesian Traditional Wisdom Network (ITWN)/Jaringan Kearifan Tradisional Indonesia (JKTI). He is also an observer on the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), particularly on the Genetic Resources, Traditional Knowledge and Folklore issue since 2006. 

He has more than 27 years of experience as a research manager and advocating organic agriculture and participatory guarantee systems. He also has experience in setup system and training on sustainable agriculture and Organic Farming, particularly in the Small farmers Internal Control System on some commodities; food, non-food (Sustainable palm oil for independent farmer) and non-timber forest product (since 2004).   

He has experience in the Sustainable Tourism issue and program since 1997 in a local organization (Evergreen Indonesia-Central Sulawesi) and in an international organization (Swisscontact Foundation-Switzerland) for two years. He has experience in the International Organic Movement (IFOAM International) based in Germany and active in the program and activities since 2008. He also the founder and Board of Member IFOAM Asia based in Seoul-South Korea (2013-2017).
